
Confined Space Entry Including Use of Breathing Apparatus
Confined spaces come in a range of shapes and sizes, but all pose a significant risk to the health and safety of those working in them.
This course aims to ensure that delegates are aware of their responsibilities regarding the planning and undertaking of “confined spaces” working.
Confined Space Entry Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will be able to:
- Identify whether an area is a confined space, in accordance with current legal definitions.
- Understand the range of hazards which may be encountered in a confined space and how they can be effectively controlled in order to ensure they stay safe.
- Understand the various roles and responsibilities relating to confined space working.
- Safely access and egress a confined space and fit emergency escape breathing apparatus inside our bespoke confined space simulator.

This is a one day course.
Location
The course can be undertaken at one of our network of training centres.
Confined Space Entry Course structure
The course is a combination of classroom based theory, including a multiple choice exam, along with a practical exercise involving accessing our confined space simulator and using escape breathing apparatus.
Entry Requirements
There are no specific entry requirements for this course, although the ability to communicate in English along with a basic understanding of workplace safety would be beneficial.

In-House Certificate, valid for 3 years.
